Chicago "Wildlife", Zoos and Aquarium
We recently made a trip to explore the city made famous by among others, Carl Sandburg. Although the meat packing and steel industries are either long gone or a shadow of their former selves, Chicago is still the broad-shouldered center of the Midwest. Chicago has two very nice zoos and a wonderful Aquarium.
We were able to spend a day at Brookfield Zoo, the better part of a day at Lincoln Park Zoo and half a day at the Shedd Aquarium. Here are some sample images from those outings
