What's Going On

Views of Nature Photography


-On January 10th Bob presented our Galapagos program to the Scholarship Group at Anthem Ranch in Broomfield, Colorado.

On February 5th bob will be at the Aurora Society of Photographers He will present our popular Colorado Mountain Towns program and will stay to judge the club’s monthly member image submissions.

-In April,  Bob will be teaching a wildlife photography class at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. More details will be available soon. The planned dates are April 5, 12, 19 and 26 starting at 6:30 PM.

-Bob will return to The Gardens at Spring Creek in Fort Collins on May 5th to do a program on macro photography. The Gardens are a wonderful place to practice close up shooting so this class should be lot of fun! 

-Bob will present a Depth of Field and Hyperfocal workshop for the Urban Wildlife Photo Club at their June 5th meeting.

-On June 11th Bob will present the Colorado Mountain Towns program to a combined Loveland (Colorado) Photographic Society and Fort Collins Digital Camera Club (Colorado) meeting. In addition he'll do a short presentation on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Non Consumptive User Roundtable, a group of people and organizations interested in the work CPW does regarding wildlife and habitat.

-We've started a relationship with the Rocky Mountain Conservancy, formerly the Rocky Mountain Nature Association. In July 2018 Bob will teach a three day Macro program. You can find out more about the Conservancy on the website: or go directly to the macro class page:

-We have also started a relationship with the High Plains Library District. Bob will be presenting a photo program on March 13 at the Centennial Park Library in Greeley and on April 3rd, 2018 6:00 to 7:45 PM at the Library in Erie, Colorado. The same program will be given on April 15th at the Riverside Library in Evans Colorado from 2 to 3:30 PM.  He will also be doing a presentation on Colorado Mountain Towns. The Mountain Town presentation is part of the Erie local history program and will be on October 18 at 7:00 PM at the Erie Community Center.
