Views of Nature Photography
One of the more common hummingbirds in Colorado is the broad tailed hummingbird. Most of the following images were made near Lake Granby in Summit County, Colorado, others near Echo Lake on the Mt Evans road. Some wildlife photographers tend to avoid feeders in their bird images. We know that most hummingbird images, especially in-flight shots, are made near feeders. We have chosen to include feeders in some of our images to show that fact.
