2016 Events

We traveled to Belize, Washington DC for the cherry blossoms, the Pacific Northwest, the Charleston area and two trips to southwestern Colorado. 

January 4, a Travel Photography Course at the Aurora Photo Club, followed by judging of member images.  The club website is:

January 5, a travelogue on sailing the Greek Islands at the January meeting of the Urban Wildlife Photo Club.  The meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.  The club website is

March 28,  the same travelogue on sailing the Greek Islands at the Eloise May Library, 1471 So. Parker Road, Denver.  The program will be at noon.

A class on nature photography at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in May (May 2, 9, and 16 evening classes and a May 21st half day field trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens).   This new class included a variety of subjects including macro, nature and landscape photography.  The Museum website for adult classes is

On November 2nd Bob was interviewed by, a new on-line news and feature site. He was able to contribute to their "Wildlife photographers’ five favorite places to spot wild animals near Denver" feature. In addition to the information he provided a couple of his images were published.

In November and December, Bob was asked to be a judge for the annual best of the year photos at the Denver Photographic Society and the Aurora Society of Photographers.
